Christie to present an episode of BBC Radio 4's "Something Understood"

On Sunday, 18th May, 2008, Christie
will present an episode of Something Understood in
which she talks about The Animal Inside -
the role of animals in our minds and imaginations.
Broadcast will be on Radio 4 at 6:05 am or 11:30 pm.

Two-book deal with HarperCollins

In April, Christie signed a contract for two books
with her publisher HarperCollins. She is already
working on the first one, about a character she fell
in love with during research for THE FIREMASTER'S
MISTRESS but could not fit in - Elizabeth Stuart, the
oldest daughter of King James I and VI. Though not
well known, she was the vital link between past kings
and the present English Royal Family... Watch this
